Team Health is a native iOS application for mobile devices. Developing a mobile application that allows users to track and monitor their partner’s goals, in addition to their own, brings the accountability aspect to life. This application targets those that can count on someone in their life to help them achieve their goals. Whether it’s a personal trainer who’s interested in helping a client, a wife motivating her husband to take a walk around the neighborhood, or two best friends that lean on each other for support, this application brings teams together. All content on Team Health is related to fitness and diet/nutrition. It’s worth the effort if you want a healthier lifestyle. Team Health focuses on positivity while encouraging users to be the best version of themselves. Staying active on the application can correlate with how active you are outside of the application.
Functionality includes tracking personal goals, entering fun challenges that motivate you throughout the week, an activity feed that keeps friends up to date with each other, and a leaderboard that ranks users based on how active they are in the app. Users are encouraged to grow their partner accountability network by forming accountability relationships with multiple people.
The primary target user for this mobile application is a self-motivated health enthusiast from age 18-65. The target audience is equally distributed between men and women. Potential job titles may include a student, working adult, or even a stay-at-home parent.
The secondary target user would be a professional health enthusiast such as a personal trainer or yoga instructor. The target audience would be predominately 55% female.
